Welcome to Akari Beauty Spa at Hotel Gasteigerhof in Vipiteno. The concept of wellness is taken very seriously in the entire region of South Tyrol. In our wellness and beauty area, we try to combine natural treatments, innovative therapies and modern ideas, thus creating the perfect place for wellness holidays in South Tyrol – at wellness hotel Gasteigerhof in Vipiteno!

AKARI is the Japanese term for light. Light is the most important element in creating motivation, energy and well-being for all of us. Light creates good vibes and healthy attitudes. Hence, the wellness area at Hotel Gasteigerhof in Vipiteno focuses on the principle of using light for your inspiration, relaxation and for you to restore your energy levels.

Spa etiquette

Some things you might like to know before checking out our spa treatments.

Clothing:

For hygienic reasons, street shoes are not permitted at Akari Beauty Spa. Please wear bathing robes and bathing slippers.

Massages:

Please undress for all massage treatments. Your therapist will provide you with a hand towel and paper to lie on. Please take showers prior to all massage services.

Pregnancy:

First of all let us congratulate you on this very exciting time of your life! Do note, however, that certain restrictions apply for treatments when you are pregnant – we will gladly design a tailor-made offer for you so that you can use our treatments to maximum effect even during this period.

Facial treatments:

Men are politely asked to shave some 2 hours before treatments.

Sun:

Please note that essential oils and sun do not go together.

Food and drink:

Massages and bath treatments can be unpleasant with a full stomach – try not to eat at least in the last hour leading up to the treatment.

Smoking:

AKARI Beauty SPA is a non-smoking area!

Cell phones:

In the interest of others, please do not use mobile phones in the spa area. At very least, switch cell phones to silent mode.

Swimming pool:

Diving into the pool is not permitted for safety reasons, and parents are responsible for their children at all times.

Sauna area:

Please undress before entering the sauna area, and use bathing robes and sauna towels.

Jewellery:

Try to avoid wearing jewellery in the spa area and during treatments.

Fitness area:

In the interest of safety, fitness facilities must not be used by children under 14 years of age.

Cancellations:

Please remember to cancel booked treatments 24 hours prior to the appointment at the very latest, or you will be charged 50 & of the applicable rate.
